"Woven Dream" is an oil painting that exists at the boundary between reality and abstraction. This work, executed in a realistic (realism) style, depicts a poetic concept: the fusion of a face with the pattern of a Persian carpet. The artist skillfully renders half of a woman's face in full detail, while the other half dissolves into abstract patterns inspired by carpet weaving, as if the figure is emerging from within the tradition itself.

This painting is designed for buyers who seek narrative and conceptual works within a classical execution framework. Its audience includes collectors of contemporary Iranian art, interior designers looking for a sophisticated focal point for unique projects, and individuals with an interest in symbolism in art. The piece initiates a dialogue between figurative art and traditional crafts.

This painting was executed using the oil painting layering technique (glazing) with very fine brushes. Over the course of its one-year creation process, the artist applied numerous, ultra-thin layers of paint, with each new layer added only after the previous one had completely dried. This method enabled the creation of soft, seamless transitions between the realistic rendering of the face and the abstract, carpet-inspired section.

The function of this technique is to achieve natural depth and volume without the use of physical texture or impasto materials. The result is a smooth, even surface that compels the viewer to examine the work closely to fully appreciate the transition from reality to imagination. The stability of the high-quality oil pigments used ensures this subtlety will endure over time under normal interior lighting conditions. Final curing of the canvas may take several months.
